Open Studios Sunshine Coast – 16-25 May 2025
Open Studios Sunshine Coast is just around the corner, and I’m excited to open my studio doors again! From Friday 16 May to Sunday 18 May, you’re invited to step inside my creative space in the beautiful Maleny hills.
If you’ve visited before, welcome back! And if you’re new to Open Studios, you’re in for an absolute treat. There’s something special about wandering through the working studios of local artists, having a chat, seeing artworks up close and getting a real feel for the creative process.
72 artist studios and galleries – along 6 scenic drive trails.
16-24 May – printmakers, painters, sculptors, photographers, mixed media artists and more!

For 2025, the HINTERLAND studios open on the first weekend of the program – 17-18 May (some Hinterland studios will be open Friday 16 May). The second weekend (24-25 May) sees the opening of the COASTAL studios. The demarcation line is the Bruce Hwy – studios on either side of the highway have been grouped into Art Trails.
- Friday 16/Saturday 17 – Sunday 18 May – 35 HINTERLAND artist studios and galleries over 3 different trails from the Glass House Mountains and Landsborough to Maleny, Montville and Nambour.
- Monday 19 – Friday 23 May – 20 workshops are running at different studio locations, with some artists’ studios during the week.
- Saturday 24 – Sunday 25 May – 37 COASTAL studios and galleries over 3 different trails from Pelican Waters up to Coolum Beach and Yandina

I’ll be sharing a collection of my printmaking work – including linocuts, monotypes, etchings, cyanotypes and my handmade artist books. Original artworks and fine art reproductions will be available, and of course, there’ll be tea, coffee, and a few treats to keep you fuelled for your art trail adventures.
My studio isn’t just a workspace – it’s where I run printmaking and bookmaking workshops year-round. Open Studios is a great chance to see the space, chat about the workshops, and register your interest for workshops running in the second half of 2025. Workshop dates will be released to interested people the week after Open Studios.

Open Studios Sunshine Coast 2024
Open Studios Sunshine Coast 2024 was a beautiful reminder of why I love sharing my creative space. Over 200 visitors joined me across the weekend, connecting through printmaking, artist books and the joy of making. It was a weekend filled with sunshine, conversations and creativity.
