Gift Voucher Terms and Conditions

Gift vouchers purchased from Kim Herringe are subject to the following Terms and Conditions.

 1. General Terms and Conditions

  • Gift vouchers are issued for a nominated monetary value and are valid for three years from the date of issue.
  • Gift vouchers can only be used towards workshops organised and run by me at The Studio in North Maleny.
  • Gift vouchers cannot be used for workshops I deliver on behalf of other organisations, workshops at external venues, online workshops, private tuition or other products.
  • All workshop bookings are subject to availability.
  • Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.

 2. Using Your Gift Voucher

  • Gift vouchers can be used towards one or more eligible workshop bookings.
  • If your chosen workshop costs more than your available gift voucher balance, you’ll need to pay the difference when booking.
  • If your chosen workshop costs less than your available gift voucher balance, the remaining amount can be used towards another eligible workshop before the original expiry date.
  • Any unused balance remaining after the expiry date will lapse.
  • Gift vouchers must be used to make a confirmed workshop booking before their expiry date. The workshop itself may take place after that date.

3. Transferring a Gift Voucher

  • An unused gift voucher may be transferred to another person with my written approval. Please contact me to discuss the transfer.
  • Once a gift voucher has been partially redeemed, you cannot transfer any remaining balance to another person unless otherwise agreed in writing.

 4. Workshop Bookings, Cancellations and Transfers

Once a gift voucher has been used towards a confirmed workshop booking, that booking is subject to my standard Workshop Terms and Conditions, including cancellation, refund and transfer conditions.

Cancellations

  • The standard cancellation periods apply. Depending on how far in advance you cancel, you may forfeit some or all of the amount used towards your booking.
  • Amounts paid using a gift voucher will not be refunded in cash. If a refund is due under the standard cancellation policy, the applicable amount will be returned to the gift voucher balance, retaining its original expiry date.
  • Any unused balance remaining on your gift voucher is unaffected by a cancellation and remains available until the original expiry date.

Transfers

  • You may request one transfer to another workshop, provided the request is made at least four weeks before your original workshop date.
  • Transfers are subject to availability and my approval.
  • Once transferred, the replacement booking is non-refundable and cannot be transferred again.
  • Any unused balance remaining on your gift voucher is unaffected by a transfer and remains available until the original expiry date.

 

 5. Additional Information

These Terms and Conditions may be updated from time to time. The terms applicable to your gift voucher are those in effect when it was purchased, unless otherwise agreed.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
