There is a little island along the Great Barrier Reef called Percy’s Island. It a little safe haven for small sailing yachts and boats. I explored the mangrove lined inlets of this little secret island.

This piece I have of Kim’s offers me intrigue, peacefulness and the desire to explore. It’s complex and busy but serene and calm at the same time. I also have a great amount of respect for the work that goes into a piece like this. Love it!

‘Percy’s Mangroves’ special to me. I love mangroves – to me they represent a safe haven, home, hidden adventures and exploration. I love it that you see that in this print. And it was also with this print that I ‘found’ a whole new level of lino printing, carving, detail, registration and confidence. Thank you.
