Today is not tomorrow: PTSD Understories … a Group Exhibition
Curated by Dr Robin Rodd, College of Arts, Society & Education, James Cook University, and hosted by Umbrella Studio Contemporary Arts, Townsville, Today is not tomorrow: PTSD Understories is a group exhibition aiming to raise community awareness about the ways that post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) affects individuals, families and communities.
The exhibition reflects on the ways artistic practice can foster mental health. It includes works from established and emerging North Queensland and Australian artists who draw on a range of artistic, professional and personal experiences relating to PTSD.
My contribution is an artist book, PTSD … A Love Story, sharing both my love for my husband and the challenges of living alongside PTSD.
