Printmaking Workshops Dates July-November 2024
Dates for 2025 will be published mid-January
Click here to receive early notice via email late-December.
Every workshop is inclusive of all tools and materials, eliminating the need for pre-purchasing supplies. Feel free to bring your own tools and kit if you already have them.
You will leave your workshop with your creations and handouts and information about what and where to buy, to a range of different budget options, to enhance your newly acquired skills beyond our workshop.
Workshops maintain an intimate setting with a maximum of 5 or 6 students, depending on the specific workshop. This ensures that everyone receives individualised attention, fostering a comfortable and engaging experience.
Availability for each workshop is highlighted below. This page is manually updated, so the displayed numbers may not reflect real-time availability when you make your booking.
In the event that a workshop is already at full capacity when you enrol, I will promptly notify you and add your name to the workshop’s waitlist.
Workshops are organised in 6-month blocks, with additional dates added as workshops reach full capacity, dependent on time availability.
If a workshop is FULL, click the ‘wait list’ link. It’s not uncommon for cancellations to happen. When they do, I work through the wait list, in order of when people were added, to fill the spot.
Whether you are new to the craft of printmaking, or wanting to extend your current creative skills, please join me in a small-group printmaking workshop held in my own private art studio in beautiful Maleny. Maleny is nestled in the heart of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, just over an easy hours drive north of Brisbane.
Below is a sortable table of upcoming workshops scheduled up until June 2024. Dates for July-December will be added in May.

What is an Artist Book?
An artist book is a handmade book, often intimate and personal. It can be one-of-a-kind or form an edition. And it is a fabulous way to use prints – be it prints from your stash or create new prints with an express intention of incorporating them into an artist book. My Artist Book workshops are about teaching you several different approaches to making your own books. You leave each workshops with handouts and instructions to keep making at home.

“An artist’s book is a medium of artistic expression that uses the form or function of “book” as inspiration. It is the artistic initiative seen in the illustration, choice of materials, creation process, layout and design that makes it an art object.”
