I thoroughly enjoyed the weekend workshop and Kim was very encouraging and explained the process well. Kim’s enthusiasm about printing was infectious. Thank you for a great weekend.

This was the best art workshop I’ve ever attended. Kim was incredibly patient, skilled, and created such a supportive and relaxed environment that made learning a real joy. I came away not only with several beautiful prints but also with a strong sense of accomplishment. I would highly recommend this workshop to anyone looking to explore their creative side —especially if you’ve never tried etching before.

Kim is an excellent teacher- she's passionate about the printmaking process and has an incredible wealth of knowledge which is generously shared. The etching workshop was thoughtfully prepared and planned sequentially. Foundational skills were presented on the first day which built confidence and understanding followed by a deeper depth of process during the second day that built on everyone's developing skills . At no point was Kim unengaged with participants, she was sensitively aware of each persons grasp of the procedures and process and was available and happy to support at every stage. I was blown away by the endless possibilities and application that this technique opens up for me. I was inspired, delighted, motivated and intrigued- it's a total package.......I simply can't wait to experiment and play some more with printmaking- Thanks Kim

I loved this workshop - a fun, relaxed setting, accessible to all abilities, great instruction and guidance and achievable results! It's a fantastic way to spend a weekend learning and experimenting and enjoying the creative process...highly recommended.

This workshop was absolutely amazing! I had no experience of etching but with Kim's patient teaching I managed to produce some work that I am really excited about. I can't wait to do more!

Kim’s passion and expertise was very evident throughout the workshop and her ability to manage the diverse needs of the group. Kim has a refreshing balance of being super creative but also practical to work at a good pace to teach the complex processes of print making. She also makes you feel like you are already part of a printmaking community and on a printmaking journey even if you are just a novice!

Kim's workshops are always professional organised and run. There is no element of "I wonder what we're doing" - with everything from notes, paper, tools and usually a lovely printed card all laid out ready and waiting for your arrival. Processes are well explained, often demonstrated with Kim's enthusiasm for the subject matter absolutely contagious. I defy you to attend any of Kim's amazing workshops and not thoroughly enjoy yourself and come away with an appreciation of both her and her work.

Every aspect was mentored by Kim, and she was highly enthusiastic. She anticipated what our next step would be as if we were the only at the workshop. I can not think of any point where I was left wondering of what my next step would be!

[What did you like about the workshop] The pace was great and excellent use of space to make it easy and accessible. Resources and extra reading useful. Loved the demonstrations and ability to ask you any questions and get help one-on-one if necessary. It gave me more food for thought and another process to include in my own art practice. Sometimes new ideas are waking me up at night!!!

Highly recommend this course for anyone looking for an introduction to etching that’s low toxic, fun and really inspiring. After taking this course I can’t wait to start printing at home.

probably the best workshop I have ever been too (and I have been to a lot). Kim is welcoming and makes you feel relaxed from the start. extremely well organised, plenty of working space. great step by step notes. always receptive to questions. looking forward to my next workshop. and the morning tea was excellent. 

I have now completed 5 workshops/courses with Kim both face to face and online. As always it was fabulous! Information and resources are really well presented, Kim provides a great balance of instruction/guidance/ideas and freedom to explore your own ideas and to move in new directions

The professionalism of the organisation is impeccable both in the development of the workshop, the delivery and the physical space. Plus the generous sharing of decades of printing skills and knowledge. It was very appreciated the group number was low capped at 6. What a luxury.

I love how you break down what initially seems like a complex process into very clear and simple steps so that it becomes very achievable. I also love that with my baby press, and some simple supplies I can explore the world of etching - which I always thought would be too hard. I feel so confident using my press now - and really appreciate that you will help us source smaller quantities of materials so we can experiment further without a huge investment of money. It's great to share the creativity of the other students in each group = learning about their art journey and finding out out what inspires them and ignites their passions. Viva la print making!

Kim’s classes are fun and very educational. I learned a lot and was inspired by my fellow classmates ideas and work. The workshop has a lovely easygoing vibe that makes for a creative day.

I liked how easy it was to complete the tasks and to come home with something that I had made myself and the fact that I will be able to play at home use a non toxic method.
