Forest Time - artist book

Forest Time

Some things only reveal themselves when movement stops.

This book grew from time spent walking, looking and listening in the forest.
It follows the experience of slowing down, noticing what is present, sensing what remains unseen and recognising that many lives share the same space.

Leaves gathered from the property were eco-printed onto paper. Photographs and words sit among these imprints, with handmade coloured papers offering pauses between them.

The overlapping and layered arrangement of the pages echoes the forest, where no single view reveals everything.

Although rooted in one place, Forest Time invites an experience that can belong to any forest: stopping, paying attention and returning.

‘Forest Time’ an artist book. The video below shares the book in a page-by-page view, sped up 4x (1:18 minutes). To view a slower page-by-page preview, scroll to the end of this page.
