I’m a printmaker, artist and educator based in Maleny, Queensland.
I work with many different printmaking methods to explore nature, memory and feeling.
I find calm in the process — carving, inking, pressing — and in sharing what I know with others.

Printmaking keeps me present. Teaching connects me to people.
Both are rooted in my love for paper, process and place.

A long love of print

Ink runs through my veins. I’ve loved printing for as long as I can remember — from potato stamps as a child to working in commercial printing and graphic design.

After 30 years in advertising and marketing, I missed the hands-on work. I ran my own digital agency for over 15 years, but I couldn’t shake the pull back to print.

In 2009, I left Brisbane and moved to Maleny. It was time to reconnect with what felt true.

My art practice

I specialise in reduction linocut — a slow, layered process that lets me carve, think and carve again. Some prints take weeks. I love that.

But I also work across many processes:
monoprinting, etching, cyanotype, eco-printing, letterpress, screenprinting and even printmaking on clay.
There’s never enough time for it all, but I’m happy trying.

My art is inspired by nature — quiet, quirky and grounding. A bush walk. A leaf in the driveway. A bird’s call in the morning. These moments become images, textures and printed marks on paper.

Teaching printmaking

In 2018, I launched my own printmaking workshops — a childhood dream turned real.
Now I teach small group classes from my own studio in North Maleny.

I keep things simple, clear and practical.
Printmaking can feel intimidating, but it doesn’t have to be. There are accessible tools, modern materials and ways to print at home — without needing a big press or studio.

Whether you’re curious, creative, or returning to art after a long break, I’ll meet you where you are. We’ll work with your hands. We’ll go at your pace. And you’ll leave with skills, confidence and your own beautiful prints.

Through my art, I bring the stillness of the natural world into my everyday life — a quiet space to slow down, work with my hands and create something real.
