Open Studios Sunshine Coast launched with a new program and new approach in 2021, after cancelling the event in 2020 due to COVID19. And WOW what a weekend!!! I opened for Saturday 20, Sunday 21 and Monday 23 March. The weekend were busy days full of public interest and curiosity in my studio and printmaking work.

It was a fabulously fun day! And busy!! So busy that I didn’t get any photos during the weekend (very unlike me!). However, Marcia from Visit Maleny visited on Monday and grabbed some photos. I did manage a few photos pre-event.

THANK YOU everyone who visited. It is a humbling feeling that so many people were interested in seeing an artist’s studio, my studio and my work. I’m already looking forward to opening again in 2022 🙂

In this year’s Open Studios Sunshine Coast program, the two Open Studio weekends straddle a week of workshops. I ran two print a Pack of Postcard workshops where we gel plate printed a pack of postcards, also letterpress printing some Note to Self sentiments on top. Below are some photos from our two workshops.

A little behind the scenes photo – this is the state of my studio the morning before Open Studios 2021. It actually looks less chaotic in the photo than it really was! I had got most of what I needed ready to display, now to tidy up to put it on display 🙂
