Line of Action – Figure drawing, hands, expressions, animals and more. Includes timed practice sessions.
QuickPoses – Gesture drawing practice with time limits and categories.
JustSketchMe – Online pose reference tool.
COMMUNITIES AND INSPIRATION
Urban Sketchers – A global collective encouraging drawing from life – in public places or indoors. Their community, local meetups and shared work offer ongoing motivation.
DeviantArt – One of the oldest and largest art-sharing platforms, hosting millions of artworks by amateur and professional artists alike. Great for inspiration, but users should remain mindful of copyright when reusing images.

TIPS FOR CONTINUED PRACTICE
- Draw daily – even just for 10 minutes. Keep a sketchbook and make it a habit.
- Set simple challenges – like drawing the same object from different angles.
- Use a timer – Try gesture drawing or quick still life sketches in 1-5 minute bursts.
- Practice observation – Focus on looking more than drawing. Look for shapes, angles, and light.
